These hubs enable you to build a geodesic dome using 1/2 inch rod, such as PVC or wood, for the struts. This works because the hubs will bend, allowing the ends to align. With 3P hubs, you'll only need one size of strut. With 5P and 6P hubs, you'll require three different lengths of strut. In addition, you can create any frequency dome, such as a 2V, 4V, 5V, etc. To determine the strut lengths, use the geodesic dome strut length formula found online.
