After searching high and low for a simple 3v geodesic icosahedral sphere I was not able to find any. Most had fancy modifications like insets, hubs, styles, or were a mesh with elusive holes that were not easy to patch - all not good for building new ideas from. I needed a blank slate. After watching this video from Kristian_Laholm I really cracked the code for how to build these in Fusion 360. Included are the following files: .STL .STEP .SKP .OBJ .FBX .F3D (Fusion 360 Backup!) If and when I make a 2V and 3V version I will link to them here.
