I found both my Solidoodle & Myriwell Direct Drive extuders didn't have quite enough Stepper grunt, if I tightened the Tension Spring too much the Stepper Motors skipped steps. I wasn't happy with any existing Geared Extruers - so here is my version. It can be used as a standard Bowden Extruder, or do what I did with my Solidoodle andmake an adapter to screw the Geared Extruder to my E3D-V6 hotend. I found the best way to mount the Bowden Pneumatic connectors was to run a 6mm tap thru , the BSP adapter, then glue it into the body It's been working for several months now, no problems found (so far) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf-wFMLLdy4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfFyuriBJD8
