Geometric Retroreflector Experiments

Geometric Retroreflector Experiments

thingiverse

A series of experiments making retroreflecting geometries with 3D printing. It does make something shinier than typical prints, but isn't nearly as good as commercially manufactured retroreflectors. Pardon the code cruft - this is fast-and-loose experimentation. I haven't cleaned these up, let me know if there are models you'd like me to try making. Will probably make a cool parametric version of this eventually, so interested in receiving feedback. I think there are a lot of interesting possibilities for using these patterns as a 'stamp' on an otherwise flat surface to give it an interesting and shinier texture.
