Georges de Layens/Dr. Leo Sharashki BeehiveThis Model is almost identical to Dr. Leo Sharashki's version of the Layens hive. (which can easily be found on his website)The difference being that this model is in metric measurements.Hopefully any metric hive builder will find this model useful.The frames Have some notable differences.One being the side bars are enclosed by the top and bottom bars. This is so tensioned wires do not exert shear force on joints at the bottom of the frame.Another difference is the v shaped top bar.
