Ghost B1a RAF Stealth Bomber Concept

Ghost B1a RAF Stealth Bomber Concept

This is an update of my stealth bomber "what if" concept. I've tried smoothing surfaces with various apps, but the polygons are oriented strangely - and any smoothing distorts huge areas of the model. I'll be designing a new version soon - with that in mind... For now - here is the Ghost B1a stealth bomber concept (scaled approx 1/72 scale) - a low observable, high technology strategic, long range stealth aircraft for the Royal Air Force. It has a crew of 2/4 (depending on mission) and is capable of offensive operations as well as ISTAR with a larger crew. It has 2 ordnance bays that can be equipped with weapons or equipment. You will need to add an undercarriage (or undercarriage doors), and weapons bay doors (I just delve into my spares box for the bits!) The best way to print this is to split it down the middle - that way you can access the flight deck (which has consoles and ejection seats). I have tried printing (it works well) - I enlarge the original design to 106.5% and then lengthen the span of both sides up to 120% - this has the effect of flattening the aircraft slightly - making it appear more stealthy. If anyone prints/builds or modifies this - I'd love to see what you did.. Happy printing!
