So my other half is in to ghost hunting and has one of those laser pointers that shines a grid of dots so you can detect movement. The problem is that it has a button that must be kept pressed for the laser to operate and this means that you hold it and the dots are always moving. The solution, make a stand that can hold the laser securely with an on/off switch. This is my make to solve the problem. If any one find it useful, please enjoy. Insert the laser and twist to turn on/off. Make sure it is pushed all the way up until it stops. Just to add, this is for a AAA laser pointer. 26/10/17 --- Added another base with a tripod screw hole as suggested by DIGITAL_STEVE --- Print Settings Printer: Qidi Tech Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: Printed ABS Used a 25mm x M3 bolt to connect the parts together.
