Ectomobile Sniffer, made from a 3D Printed "Head", and a lot of PVC pipe. You will need: 4" Female Schedule 40 PVC Closet Flange 4" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid or Foam Core) 9" Long 4" Schedule 40 PVC Female-Female Coupler 4" Schedule 40 PVC Male to 2" Female Reducer 2" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid Only) 3" Long (Base to Sniffer Head Connection) 2" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid or Foam Core) 14" Long (Sniffer Tubes) Connect together as shown in the pictures. Adjust the body tube (9" Long 4" Pipe) to your particular needs. As shown makes a sniffer about 17" tall. Install the sniffer tubes into the head first, then check in the neck hole - pipe will protrude a little. Grind this back with a dremel before installing the head onto the neck tube. My sniffer head is pretty basic, but fits the bill. Printed in PETG standing on it's smallest surface (I did mine 5 Perimeters, 4 Top/Bottom Layers, 30% Infill) it should withstand scorching summers without issue. I've had my Ecto up to 70mph on the highway with no concerns about head integrity. As always with these things, if you make one and it flies off and causes a Yakkety Sax-worthy moment, I am not responsible. Spend a few dollars and put in a catch chain or cable. See my make of this Thing to see it installed on my Ecto (fb.com/EctoWK).
