I am printing ERankLucks very nice gigameter but found issues both printing and assembling the antennas. I am assuming many people use the real antennas that you can get from realistic microphones for pretty cheap on ebay. For anyone wanting to go the cheaper 3d printed route this should hopefully help. I made 3 changes to this model. 1. Added an internal support so you can print with the top facing down (you will probably need to rotate the model 180 degrees) before the model was flat inside and it wanted to completely fill the antenna with support structures. Now it only prints a little support between the ribs and you can pop/cut out pretty easy. 2. Flattened the top for easy printing. The real antennas have a indent and so did the original model but for easy printing I just flattened it out. You lose a little detail but if you want that detail go spend the $15 and get the real things. 3. Shortened the base where the antenna attaches to the meter. These were to long/wide and I didn't see any way to get them inserted without some hacking. These may actually be to short now but you can either print a shim or add a couple washers. First picture shows the little slots on the top that you will likely need to widen using an exacto knife (or at least that's what I did). Second picture you can see the final version with shorter base on the left and the ones on the right you can see the first version with revised internal structure, flattened top and rib support removed.
