These are the top and bottom hubs for a giant Christmas ball. The frame is made from 1/2" PEX pipe. Each ball requires 1 top and one bottom plus 12 48" sections of PEX. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3B3VL2oGsYW and https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jwNY1RkIqmK. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 5% Notes: I printed these in PLA at 200 deg with a 60 deg bed. I'm using a .5 nozzle. The bed was prepped with glue stick and AquaNet. The strength is in the merged pipes and shell so I only used 5% infill to support the flat roof. I had to scale up 106% on my printer to get a slip fit but it's not well calibrated yet. Be sure to print the test piece to verify fit before printing the big pieces. Printing took 8hrs for the bottom and 9hrs for the top on my Prusa I3. Post-Printing Should be ready to use when printed. If the tubes aren't exactly right you can ream them with a 5/8" drill bit.
