This could be a bold artistic statement? It could be that you don't like wearing your glasses? Either way - since I printed this - everyone notices. Everyone stops and looks from a distance - then walks up close to see the finely detailed surprises on each of the numbers. There are lots of styles of large wall-clock motors and hands available on Amazon.com - usually for about $20. They usually come with a guide to help you place the numbers. How I Designed This Designing the Numbers I'm still a beginner - and I used Tinkercad.com to make this. I wanted a cool font, so I chose "Righteous" from Google Fonts. I traced each number into SVG files, then scaled them to 80mm tall and 5mm thick. After that I made hundreds of copies of the same number - but only 5mm tall. The hundreds of copies were grouped and turned into holes, then embedded 1mm down into the big number. The effect is that the numbers sparkle from a distance, but when you get very very close to them you can see the detail. I like art that can be appreciated from a distance, but surprises up close. This is my little attempt. About the Font Righteous was initially inspired by the all capitals letterforms from the deco posters of Hungarian artist Robert Berény for Modiano. Grid based and geometric in execution, the letterforms are highly readable at a range of point sizes. Unlike that of the inspiration source, Righteous has a full lowercase to increase flexibility of use..
