I came up with this style of bending when the customers asked for no marks. The plastic worked well but changed during the production cycle. These are are .030 stainless fitted as shown to the die center line. I used duct tape on the ends to be a hinge, therefore you will not likely to bend over an edge. I hope they help you as much as me! I called it shim bending and show both Amada and standard V dies.Edit 05-07-2017I don't understand why the gif file looks messy like it does.
