This is a turn-of-the-century oil lamp that has a striking resemblance to something Dr Suess would have conceived. This is a rare Marvel lamp by Gilette Light Company in Chicago. We newly wired the lamp keeping all the century old details intact. The brass also has its original milk glass shades and copper/black japanned finish.
