<p>Weather protection with a 3D-printed gill shield (Stevenson screen is a box) for RuuviTag temperature/humidity/pressure sensor. Basically a DIY bluetooth weather station.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Keeps the water out yet enables the air and bluetooth to go through!&nbsp;</li><li>Opimized to be printed upside down without supports or rafts.&nbsp;</li><li>Optional roof-plate with Ruuvi logo. If you plan to install this somewhere with direct sunlight, use full white roof to get more accurate readings.</li><li>Modular design that allows as many "ring" sections to be used and made as tall as possible.</li></ul><h4>Minium combination</h4><ul><li>floor</li><li>ring</li><li>tag holder</li><li>roof</li></ul><p>Weather station in the pictures has 3 ring units. Filament and weight calculations above contain 3 rings and match the images.</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>Roof has M5 threads, add 3x 90mm pieces of 5mm threaded rod, assemble tag-holder and 3 rings, floor and nuts to underneath the unit to hold it together.&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Tag holder has a slot for double sided tape to hold the sensor.&nbsp;</li><li>Tag-holder has a slot for screwdriver to allow battery change of the sensor.</li><li>Has to be printed from white filament not to heat up too much in direct sunlight</li><li>Preferable PETG or ABS in order to last outdoors.&nbsp;</li><li>1,0 mm elephant's foot compensation worked nicely for me.</li></ol><h3>How I Designed This</h3><p>About 106 mm diameter, plate separation of 13 mm. Can be screwed into M10 thread.&nbsp;</p><p>Bottom has holes for potentional drainage and to create convection in direct sunshine.</p><h3>Licence</h3><p>I've licenced this free for anyone to make, aslong as they don't profit from my work (fine to charge filament/print time from friends for example).
