This is a self leveling gimbal intended for a drone. The gimbal attaches at the bottom of the drone and hangs down. This gimbal is specifically made for a GoPro camera in a safety box. The gimbal uses the weight of the camera and gravity to self level. The gimbal uses .125" axles to pivot on. This gimbal was made using Autodesk Inventor 2015. We wanted to put a camera on the drone so we could capture video from the drones POV. We wanted to have a gimbal that levels on its own but did not have the funds to purchase one so I was tasked with designing one. After about 2.5 days of work this was the final product.
