Gizmo Watch Protector
thingiverse
So I surprised my daughter with a Gizmo watch since she's finally outgrown training wheels and is becoming super independent. After just three days, this supposedly tough Verizon Gizmo Watch met its match when it slipped from her grasp and shattered the screen into a million pieces. Predictably, I got to work building a custom case for the replacement - it's not an exact fit, but it gets the job done. To make it compatible with the watch band connections that need some extra flexibility, I printed it out in TPU. As you'd expect, it required some clever use of supports to ensure everything came out perfectly. I opted for a dense 100% infill to guarantee maximum durability and a super fine layer height of just .16 to get the smoothest finish possible.
