Yi doesn't fit to the original camera carriage that comes with GL-3X. I guess I could file the edges, but since the controller is located exactly where the TV Out cable goes to, I couldn't use TV out. So I designed this. It's my first design and it took me more then a week and 600gr ABS to perfect the design. I lost count of failed prototypes. Few Notes: 1)Triangular-ish shape at the back is there for balance. 2)No screw holes to mount controller. You can use original screws to tread a hole. Or use hot glue. 3)Camera is friction fitted. It sits quite snugly. I shook it quite forcefully. Didn't budge. If you want extra security, you could use velcro. 4)All the interface ports(both for Camera and Controller) are open except for HDMI out. I don't need that port. So I used there to add some extra weight to the back. 5)It weights a few grams less then the original piece. Instructions I used ABS.Don't know if it'd work with PLA. -240C hotend 100C bed temp. -Layer height 0.3 -Infill 100% -NEEDS Supports. -Print it as it is in the stl file. -Use M3 nut and ~5mm bolt to tighten carriage to the motor shaft. You might need to clean the hole first.
