3D aerial survey conducted by ‘Aimee’ (Scotland’s first CAA-approved fixed wing UAS/drone permitted to fly in both rural and urban areas). Two visual line of sight (VLOS) flights were needed to survey this area at a stunning 3cm resolution. Capturing our world in 3D gives us great advantages. In this instance, high resolution 3D imagery allows us to analyse the potential incoming solar PV radiation of building tops, as well as produce flood terrain analysis at an unprecedented accuracy.
