Plastic holders for a glass bed for Solidoodle 2 that do not protrude above the bed. Note: I'm not using this holders anymore because after a while the inserts tended to bend and not hold the glass properly anymore. I suggest trying this other magnetic mount: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:54297 Instructions These holders are intended to replace paper clips or other things that are normally used to attach a glass piece on top of the heated bed of the solidoodle 2. They have the advantago of staying below the bed, so they allow the usage of the full printing area, and avoid the risk of the extruder crashing. You will need pieces of glass that are a bit bigger than the bed itself, I suggest 17x15cm. Print 4 times the "socket" and 4 times the "insert". Once printed, use a small file to elarge the hole of the socket just enough for the insert to slide in. Carefully place the glass on the bed and draw lines where the edges of the bed are. Glue the 4 sockets at the four corners. Be careful to use a glue that is strong and resistant to at least 100°C. I used UHU Plus 5 minutes. Once the glue is dry, try placing the glass on the bed and place the inserts. They should fit just below the bed and apply some force that keeps the glass in place. If they don't fit, file a bit the socket to allow for a bit of backlash.
