Glasses Holder for Shower/Bathtub

<p>I wanted to make a dedicated glasses holder for the shower where I could put my glasses and easily find them when needed. &nbsp;This avoids the problem of me putting down my glasses (e.g., on the ledge of the bathtub) and struggling to find them again when I have finished my shower. &nbsp;I am very nearsighted…</p><p>The design is essentially a rectangular box that has solid lateral faces (to reduce water splashing on the lenses during showering) and a perforated bottom surface to allow any water to pass through that happens to get into the holder through the open top.&nbsp; I went through a number of iterations to strike a balance between structural rigidity and material use.&nbsp; For the lateral walls, I kept the walls pretty thin at 1.2 mm (or 3 passes with a 0.4mm nozzle) and overlaid a hexagonal support structure to provide a little extra rigidity.&nbsp; I decided to also make the perforations on the bottom surface a hexagonal shape to keep the pattern consistent across the part.&nbsp; For my print in PLA @ 20% infill, the final part weighed ~38 grams.&nbsp;</p><p>There are holes in the back lateral surface for hooks to hold the glasses holder to the tiles in a shower/bathtub using generic suction cup hooks.&nbsp; I purchased this generic set of suction cup hooks off of Amazon <i><strong>Suction Cup Hooks Wall Hooks for Hanging All Purpose Hook Wall Hangers Without Nails Heavy Duty Wall Hooks-Made in USA (3 lbs/ 6 Pack)</strong></i> (Amazon Link: <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FGWVEKG/">https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FGWVEKG/</a>).&nbsp; That being said, this design will likely work with pretty much any of the suction cup hooks available online. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong>Horizontal Cross-Section of the model looking towards the bottom:</strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/313471/rich_content/735cd949-4682-4fcf-8dc7-7738393e36b1/screenshot-2022-11-09-180843.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%222e2a0c58-9031-47ef-a284-a0d184bb2571%22%2C%22w%22%3A1518%2C%22h%22%3A463%7D"></figure><p><i><strong>Vertical Cross-Section of the model looking at the back:</strong></i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/313471/rich_content/d85cdbba-8ad7-486a-85f8-3f84611856c2/screenshot-2022-11-09-180535.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2205b876a5-970c-4ab5-9d57-5b0b2ebc7c2d%22%2C%22w%22%3A1720%2C%22h%22%3A603%7D"></figure>
