I designed this as an alternative to the idiot pin required by Canadian law. Like limiting capacity to 10 rounds keeps you safe or stops crime... It's meant for the Magpul PMAG17 9mm, never used it on any other calibre. I used an M2 screw to fasten the button. The button is meant to be tapped and used like a nut, but you could edit or drill it to any size.
