I designed a custom case for my Freestyle glucometer that allows me to pick up a probe stick, place it in the meter, pinch myself, and take a sugar reading without opening the box or making a mess every morning. I'm not an expert on hinges, but this was my first attempt, so I added a small hole for a magnet to keep the case securely shut. To create the axis of the hinge, I used a tiny piece of filament.
