Glucose Tablet Containers

Glucose Tablet Containers

thingiverse

Summary These things are a set of glucose tablet containers. The containers are designed to hold 4 or 8 tablets. These are designed to be slimmer and smaller than an entire tube of glucose tablets. The containers are implemented in two configurations; as boxes and tubes. The tube caps are a twist lock design and the boxes have sliding lids. Two of the tubular caps have index bumps and two don’t. The sliding box lids have a finger detent to help opening. There is a latching mechanism on both the lids and caps. These containers have been implemented in PLA and PETG. The containers were designed to use glucose tablets sold by CVS. The images show the proper orientation for slicing and printing. Lids should be positioned with the finger detent and edge slide grooves up. These containers were printed in colourful PETG (orange) and PLA (yellow). Printing in bright colours makes finding the tablet case easy when they are at the bottom of a purse or pack.
