Azazel was the Champion of the Nation of Gluttony, and as such her people were given no other choice but to face exile. Some few tried to fight back, but ultimately they accepted their fate. These were a people who created fine cuisine and pursued the arts, in many ways they were the cultural center of the Maor Taph. Yet in exile, such things were simply not within reach. What little remnants of their homes they had would wither, and corrode becoming terrible and corrupt to the beholder. Eventually they would give in to their despair and forgo any attempt at finery or pleasure and simply Consume in hopes of filling the emptiness within their souls…
