The latest gnome scan is comprehensive, featuring a full 360-degree view. It was the first to utilize a new printed turntable and spinscan software (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9972). However, there's an issue with the Z-axis calculation in spinscan, causing elongation when downloading the point cloud; it was fixed by compressing the Z-axis in Blender. Furthermore, meshlab only needed minor tweaks, and multiple point clouds didn't require merging, thanks to spinscan's single-shot coverage of all sides.
