Go Screw Your Shelf

Go Screw Your Shelf

A simple, do-it-yourself 2-tier shelf (more tiers can be added). No glue needed.

I needed a small shelf to work with limited counter space in a bathroom so I designed this, but it can be used for other applications.

For just the parts, I was working with a Mini+, though I won't include a gcode for the mini here, as the separate shelf part is a bit too large for the mini build area and was printed on an mk3s+.

I have sliced multiple parts to print individually, though the ‘parts_multi’ gcode does need about 4 prints to have all the parts needed. The Shelf part will need to be printed twice. The individual counts needed to build the 2-tier system are:

Cap x8

Nut x8

Rod x4

Shelf x2

Note: The screw rod's threads may need some small attention where it touches the supports. I removed some small burrs with a knife, and just screwing on the nut pieces with a little persistence, repeatedly, will smooth out the threads where it's needed.
