Goggle plywood

Goggle plywood

thingiverse

Lasercutter template for a plywood variant of the awesome Google Cardboard (https://cardboard.withgoogle.com/). The result is a far more robust and less grease-prone glimpse into the world of virtual reality! Designed for fabrication from 5mm plywood, to be superglued together during assembly. Use 18mm M3 bolts to attach the round lens grips, and place a 3D print of "VRRing.stl" on top of each lens to prevent them sliding back and forth. A strip of elastic should be stapled across the open end (the one you don't look through) to secure the phone. Works perfectly with my Galaxy Note 2, though for smaller phones you may need to make some sort of cover to seal the unit off from ambient light.
