Golden Gear Trophy 2015

Basic Thought: This is my first ever challenge on GRABCAD that I have participated, so I very excited if am the winner of this challenge. As the Tag line of this challenge is “Just for Fun”, so I made the design of this trophy as I like (Just for fun). About the Design: As the name of the Challenge is “Golden Gear” so, my first choice is to use “Gears”. I used mostly “Helical Gears” with different diameters and yes a “Rack base” from “Rack and Pinion Gear” arrangement. As a Mechanical Engineering student I love “Automotive” (Cars); so, I present base as a car and show all of its components and yes this trophy goes to the challenge winners to I design a wrestling ring in which “GRABBY” stand on a Gear tree as a winner by defeating all of its opponents along with “GRABCAD” logo. Though this is just for fun but I spent 7 days of my winter holidays on this. :) Components used: Clamp = 1*8 Bolt = 1*10 Nut = 1*16 (in shape of Gears of diameter 13 and 20) Stud = 1*4 Bearing = 1*8 Wheel = 1*4 Gear = Helical Gear (Diameter 20, 40, 50, 60 and 70), Rack (Rack and Pinion Gear) Base = 1*2 Circlips = 1*8 Protection = 1*1 Dimensions: 150*120*140 (mm) Material used: Plastic Software Used: Solidworks Keyshot Photoshop 3D Builder
