Golf Club Length and Swing Weight Balance Scale Aide After using expensive Club Length Rulers and Swing Weight Scales such as Dynacraft, GolfSmith, and GolfWorks, I've deigned a device that provides home Golf Club builders/enthusiasts with an inexpensive means to build golf clubs with the same precision as the professionals. -Great for verifying the swing weight of your current clubs. -Now works with Right and Left Handed Clubs. You will need a standard Tape Measure or a 48-inch or ruler ($8.99 at Lowes or Home Depot) and a typical kitchen scale ($4.99 new orcheck Goodwill) and are NOT included. UPDATE: I've added a feature so a standard tape measure can be used instead of a ruler and also improved it so that any 2" brand ruler will work. Also, rather than printed instructions I've provided a high resolution photo of the instructions in the listing so you can downloaded and print at your leisure (and never get lost). -Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. Club Length Measuring Instructions: 1) Lay club with face down the ruler as shown with the heel of the club tight against the backstop. 2) Ensure the club toe is tight against the angled stop. 3) Read the club length on the ruler. Swing Weighting Instructions: 1) Measure the total weight (+/- 1 grams) of the club using a scale. 2) Balance the club on the fulcrum point of the device. 3) Measure from the fulcrum point to the butt of the grip. 4) Enter these numbers into the online Swing Weight Calculator from any of the golf component suppliers such as: Hirekogolf.com or ValueGolf.com
