<p>This mod holds the quest 2 controller secure at the end of a cut down club. &nbsp;Adjustable weight improves swing realism.</p><p>What you need:<br>Donor club with stepped shaft 12.5mm (1/2") at the cut end. &nbsp;A tapered shaft will work but will require more effort to secure.<br>Tools to cut and drill the club shaft<br>sandpaper or file<br>glue<br>2" bolt 1/4 20 thread<br>2" cap screw partial thread 1/4 20<br>1/4 20 nyloc nuts X 2<br>1/4 20 regular nuts X 2<br>a stack of large washers</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Print .4 nozzle @.28 layer height . 40 walls. &nbsp;No top/bottom layers , infill, or supports.</p><p>mirror the mount and quick release in the slicer for a left handed version</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Assembly:</p><p>The hole through the shaft needs to be accurate. &nbsp;Drill out the threads on 2 regular nuts and glue them into the drill guide.</p><p>Glue the cap onto the mount. &nbsp;2 part epoxy is a good choice.</p><p>Bolt the assembly together [draw the rest of the owl…]</p><p>A tapered shaft will need to be shimmed or glued</p><p>Sand/file the highlighted areas for smooth operation</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Remove the battery cover and slide the controller into the mount. &nbsp;Over time some plastic will wear away.</p><p>Secure the quick release and you are good to go</p><p>WARNING: &nbsp;use this far away from TVs, windows, ceiling fans, pets, people…</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
