This screw-on cap enables thicker shutter release cables to be used with the goodman zone without sticking out of the grip unnecessarily far. I bought this https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XSTZ7T7/ mechanical shutter release cable since my old one got bent but it didn't fit the hole in the cap. I modified it to take larger shutter release cables.
