Google Glass Case

A very sturdy Google Glass Case. It's a work in progress only because of one minor thing. It needs one more iteration, then perfection... if I say so myself. :-p The issue is the hole for the USB cable may need to be larger. The right angle connector on the cable that came with Glass fits with room to spare, but I think aftermarket cables may be another story. If someone has an aftermarket 90 degree micro connector, I'd appreciate you letting me know its measurements. Mine will arrive in about a week. The USB cable which came with Glass is too large and bulky to fit nicely in anything. I found a good recoiling micro USB cable. It fit in the void of the left arm nicely. This is meant to be printed in ABS plastic. It is about 3mm (~1/8 inch) larger than Glass and stands about 40mm (~1.6 inch) high. It is strong! S-T-R-O-N-G! The visor holder and wall wart holder play double duty as support. I can stand on it while balancing on one foot and I am just under 250 pounds. I actually jumped up and down on it lightly and did no visible damage. I did hear the sound of a crack, but cannot find the crack, so I do not recommend jumping up and down on it lightly. ;-) But the point is, you will not have to worry about your Glass getting crushed while it i™s in this case. The lid fits snugly. The striations of the printing act as mini indents and ridges to secure the lid. The overall Glass fit is very close, but not snug. Under normal circumstances, Glass should not normally slap around in this case. When flying, I intend to secure the lid with rubber bands and use a couple of pieces of foam to secure Glass in the case (over the eyepiece and over the battery) when carrying Glass in checked luggage. Only G-D knows how our luggage is abused. Instructions When printing something this large, especially in ABS, I prepare the print bed for better adhesion. My method is to use use a folded paper towel soaked in acetone. I rub it on a discarded item of the same color and wipe the residue on the bed. Using it is pretty much self explanatory. You can add some Velcro to a slim portable USB charger and place it in the middle of the visor case. The sun glasses will bridge right over it. I recommend Concept Green. It is very thin and works well.
