Google Pixel 2 (with Otterbox) Cup Holder Stand with Wireless Charging

I needed a non-destructive, fairly rigid support stand to hold my Pixel 2 (with protective case) while bouncing around in my Ford F250. The requirements were that it had to charge wirelessly, fit in the factory cup holder, not lose all functionality of the cup holder (still wanted to be able to hold 16.9oz water bottles at least), and be able to see the screen for navigation purposes. Finally, it had to be easy to drop the phone in and have it naturally settle in the correct spot for charging while being very easy to remove for a quick exit from the vehicle. Less important was the ability to reach the buttons or finger print sensor. Let's face it, aside from GPS navigation you probably shouldn't be on your phone anyway. That lead to this design. The cup O.D. is about 3", which is perfect to fit snugly in my truck cup holders. I purchased a small Qi wireless charging circuit from Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LGF992X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I then unsoldered the coil, fed it through the hole in the holder, and glued the coil and circuit board (I used super glue), then resoldered the wires. Things to watch out for: The circuit board is static sensitive, handle appropriately. Make sure the back cover is in place. The board and coil are fragile, handle gently. Also, the USB connector on the board is fragile, handle that with care as well. The hinge holes are designed to accept a 1/4" bolt, but may need to ream out the hole with a 1/4" drill bit for best use. Feel free to redesign the cup to fit your vehicle, just make sure the hinge on your design is sufficient to mate with the holder. I used a simple 0.5" square, 1/4" hole centered in that square, and the edges rounded with a 1/4" radius.
