GoPro auto-panning rig using a cheap rotisserie motor

I wanted a rig to pan my GoPro camera while my band is playing gigs, so came up with this set of things to do that using a cheap rotisserie motor. I wasn't sure about the motion geometry, so I just put a bunch of holes everywhere so I could try to discover a good combination that would be smooth and give me the range of motion I could live with. Some of the holes may be a little tight... I just drive the m3 bolts in and out until the plastic conforms to the threads. Kind of a cheater technique, I guess, but it seems to work ok. this is the motor I used:http://www.amazon.com/GrillPro-60013-Replacement-Rotisserie-Motor/dp/B0000E2RH5/ref=sr_1_14?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1335204205&sr=1-14 and here's a video of what the assembled thing does:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3HdGH-5dP4 I have this shown sitting on a countertop, but the bracket has a hexnut location so this can be mounted on a tripod. Here's a short clip of what the panning motion looks like:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvkOrj_IyqA&feature=youtu.be Instructions You're going to need some m3 bolts of various lengths. This is kind of a starter set of parts. My parts work pretty good for me, but you might need to adjust them for your rotisserie motor. So I've included the openscad files if you want to adjust anything. I tried to comment things as best I could. Some things probably didn't get the documentation they deserve, but... such is life. Oh, you may need randyy's openscad library found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6021 Oh, and I'm using agwn's gopro extension arm found in the ancestry... http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10918
