GoPro Dual-Axis Slider

The GoPro Dual-Axis Slider is used to position a GoPro camera over an array of well plates. A script running on a smartphone directs the sequence of the video recording or time lapse photos of the cells. Each of the slider controllers are constructed from the Bluetooth Motorized Camera Slider by adafruit, one for the X-Axis slider and two for the Y-Axis parallel sliders. An additional controller using a NodeMCU ESP8266 is used to send commands to the GoPro via WiFi. This remix of the Rail Foot has additional mounting holes. One hole is used to mount the GoPro X-Axis slider rail, rotated 90 degrees, on the Y-Axis parallel rail sliding ball-bearing platforms. The other holes are used to attach the parallel slide rails to the ½" aluminum angle stock which holds the Y-Axis rails in a fixed parallel position.
