Gopro Fence mount

Gopro Fence mount

I record my son's baseball games using my Gopro Hero 10. I wanted to record the whole game without it overheating while attached to the fence. The design is fairly simple (and my first). It has shade on top, a mount for the gopro and 4 holes for some bungee cords. I also added a strain relief for the power cables. I use an external rugged solar battery for the Gopro and remove the internal battery. I also have a USB powered fan that connects to the same external battery. The fan has a bendable arm and I just zip strip it and flex it towards the Gopro. I added a gopro cage as sort of a heat sink for the camera. I also cut a piece of thin insulation for the front and top to protect the camera from the heat. During testing I was able to record max resolution 5.3K 60FPS for an hour and a half with no overheating in 100 degree heat (Texas). It also has taken hits from balls from the other side of the fence with no issue. I realize in PLA the heat will eventually get to it but that's what I printed it in and it seems to be holding up just fine. We play 2 hour games.
