goPro Hero 2 Diving Lense under water flat lense no blur

Hi, this is an flat lense for an GoPro Hero 2 watertight housing. The Glas lense and the plastic Ring form the original housing will be removed and instead you can fit the new mounting plate (which you have to print) to your housing. The original rubber gasket will be under the new mounting plate. The original screws will clamp the new plate down. (but thats for later). You have to find and O-Ring which the inner diameter of 34-35mm and the outer diameter of 38-39. I found one in my toolbox. Now you need a "Plexiglas" plate with about 4mm thinkness. I turned mine in a lathe but you can also do it by hand (diameter 60mm). Clamp the new mounting Plate and the Plexiglas plate togehter and drill very slowly and without minimal pressure and some WD40 as lubricant the 6 holes. After that you need 6 M3 nuts (stainless stell) and 6 Bolts with 10mm long M3 thread (stainless stell). Mounting: Clean all Surfaces Fit the original Rubber Gasket on the Housing Get you new 3D printed Mounting plate Get yourself a sodering iron and head up the M3 Nuts, place one on the top of your soldering iron and push the Nut into the Nut spaces in the back of the Mouting Plate. (be carefull) Get your O-Ring and lubricate it with some silicon spray Place the O-Ring into the groove of the new mounting plate Get your Plexiglas plate and put it on top of the O-Ring Get the Screws and push them into the drilled holes Screw the Plexiglas plate togehter with the new mouting plate (carefully and with a cross pattern - like Car Wheels) Maybe you need to trim the new mounting plate a little bit on one side where the knop for the record button from he thousing is but thats not a big problem. I tested mine, it works fine - but i have not tested it to the extrems - no scuba diving so far.
