I often go hiking with a walking stick and I created this to mount my GoPro to a useful walking stick, a cheap, extendable painters pole. Hike with aid of walking stick, extend at the right times for great photos. Before I had a 3D printer, I machined one of these out of bronze and used it quite extensively.
