Mount your GoPro Hero (doesn't matter wich one, they are pretty much the same size) direct - without the housing - to the mounting plate of a Manfrotto 410 System. With the 5/8" screw who comes with the Manfrotto mounting plate! No additional screws needed. Manfrotto's 410 Sytem Quickchangeplate is used on their Gearheads as well as on other heads (hopefully). The GoPro itself is squeezed in between the two bars, and cause GoPro's housing is kinda rubberised it snugs in so well you can even shake it hard upside down and it won't fall out. Both sides of the GoPro aren't be covered, so you can control the modebutton as well keep it connected to a power supply. Mics are not covered also. The 'thing' im made covers up the top surface of the mounting plate. Use the 5/8" screw wich comes with your mounting plate and screw it on top of it - the hole is the right size for it. On the pictures you see a offset of 9mm to the side; its only on the pictures, i corrected it afterwards before uploading but didnt make new pictures - im sorry for that.
