GoPro Saddle Rail Mount

GoPro Saddle Rail Mount

thingiverse

A GoPro mount designed for the rails of a bicycle saddle (standard 7mm diameter). This is my second iteration of the design, which made the clamp areas variable width to accommodate non standard rail widths, and increased the "beefy" factor of the camera mount. Requires M5 socket head (Allen) screws and nuts. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .001" Infill: Solid Notes: Printed on a Stratasys Dimension Elite. Post-Printing Hardware Needed M5 socket head (Allen) screws and nuts. How I Designed This TinkerCAD Combo platter of designing the bracket itself in TinkerCAD, and pulling a copy of the GoPro shoe from another Thingiverse design. Custom Section Yeah, a blob of dried mud wound up on the exterior of the GoPro case. In the future, I'll have to remember that. Also, the SuperWide setting made my ass cheeks show up along the top edge of the video at points. This could be solved by both changing the camera angle and maybe using an extension arm.
