I'm a cheap bastard so i didn't want to spend $10 on what some people say is a good 1080p usb camera for my third octoprint setup when i had this old Pro 9000 laying around and i know it has good optics and a good sensor. Works fine on octopi you just have to specify -r 960x720 in the uvc section of your mjpg_streamer commandline because that is the one resolution it streams at. Since the original mounting arm is awkward if you aren't trying to balance it on a screen i went looking and was disappointed. So, here it is after a dozen prototypes. Inspired by the other, very disappointing gopro mount for this camera that requires you to remove the original mounting arm and then glue the silly thing to your camera so like why didn't i just glue the original mounting arm to a simple plate with a gopro type couple of rings on it for crying out loud. Retained the original hinge pins because they are the best way to connect to the housing and add some additional articulation in case you needed it. Use some of the shorter screws that came out of the original mounting arm when you took it apart. You have to peel off one of the rubber pads to get to some of the screws. Like all printable gopro accessories this may require some light sanding or filing to get the fit just right, but prints without supports, unlike the other one.
