I was looking for a way to mount a GoPro to a bike (temporarily) which has already a Quadlock mount. Just needed to combine 2 exiting adapters with a stem to give the camera a good view with out any handle bar parts visible.

Pro:
Quickly mounted and unmounted
Doubles as a little handle
Good for time lapses (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibaGkprpZHM)

Con:
No stabilisation, hence the smoothness of the footage depends on the smoothness of the road
The mic picks up a lot of the bike noises too

Credits:
GoPro adapter from JonDanielsRacing
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:114571

Quadlock adapter from P4nD3m0n1c
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2644046

<oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbrYkwaWujE"></oembed>

Post-Printing

Clue together with glue suitable for your material.

Apply glue to top (GoPro) and bottom part (Quadlock), put together and insert dovetails to align.
With this assemble there should be no messy glue squeeze out.
Category: Camera
