GoPro Wall Mount with Ball Head

GoPro Wall Mount with Ball Head

thingiverse

I searched for an adjustable wall mount for my new GoPro9 Hero Black for quite a while but didn't find any. So I designed it from scratch in fusion360 using a 30mm ball head, a wall plate and a cap with ISO Pipe threads. The threads fit perfectly fine when I printed in 0.15mm layers. I put in much needed tolerances especially for the M9 thread for the ball. I suggest to use glue for the final assembly after testing, because the ball might tend to loosen when changing the angle of the balls. The version on the photo is the final product, however it can be used to make pretty big assemblies with enough adapter arms - it is a pretty rigid assembly. The "AdapterArm_Bowl" as well as the wall mount uses a small "ridge" which fits into the golf balls holes - so in certain angles, the assembly holds even tighter. For printability I separated the bowl and the arm. If you don't need the "ridge", you can only print the Adapterarm_M9, which also works great. I printed everything in Prusament 1,75mm PLA with 0.15mm layers. 0 supports required, only a raft for the GoPro arm and the thread adapter arm due to the small surface, as well as a brim/skirt for the "golf ball"
