Gotek Enclosure - Amiga G1010

A simple yet practical design, for using a Gotek floppy emulator as an external drive. I have modded my Amiga 500 for booting from an external Gotek drive, as I want to keep my Amiga as an original stock model as possible. Having a Gotek laying around on its own wasn't very appealing next to my Amiga setup, so I decided to create a simple one piece enclosure to match it. The name Amiga G1010 is of course inspired by the original Commodore Amiga A1010 floppy drive. There is an option to use screws on the bottom side if you prefer, but it is already sturdy as it is. If anyone is interested for removing the Amiga name to match his hardware setup like Atari, Amstrad etc, PM me. *These are the items used for this project: 1/ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gotek-FF-HxC-Compatible-USB-Drive-for-PC-Amstrad-Amiga-Atari-BBC-Synthesizers/272356494491?hash=item3f69b64c9b:g:cuUAAOSwRbtaHSlb 2/ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/External-Amiga-drive-adapter-cable-for-Gotek-HxC-FF-Usb-emulator-A500-boot-hack/272363110859?hash=item3f6a1b41cb:g:6Z4AAOSwYDZac39N
