GPS (e.g. x3 geolink) bracket for model helicopter, 15mm boom.

For mounting a GPS or patch antenna (or anything else flattish and about 45mm square) on a 15mm diameter r/c helicopter tail boom. Designed for the Gaui x3 Geolink, but could be used to mount other stuff, mebbe a backup gyro or FPV antenna or something. May also be useful for mounting stuff like radio mic receivers, video transmitters, mixers, etc. to 15mm rail DSLR shoulder rigs. Printed on an Anycubic i3 Mega, the dimensions of the screw holes were pretty much spot on for me, needing no extra drilling out. (The screw holes and nut recesses are for standard m2 pan head or cheese or hex head machine screws with 4mm AF nuts. Americans may be looking for something around 5/64" or 1/16", 9BA screws would fit easily, 8BA you might need to run a 3/32 drill bit through the holes but the nuts should fit OK. The 15mm guides came out as a snug fit, for me. I printed the prototype in clear PLA 'cos it's what was in the printer. The clamp caps have been sliced on one side to remove the protruding boss, with the intention that they can then be printed with that side down on the bed, to save hassle. The caps are going to be stronger printed sideways like that, I wouldn't be tempted to print them in place or standalone as "arches" - for one thing, unless you're printing in a resin bath or with soluble supports or something, they will probably droop a bit, deforming the 15mm hole, and for another, if the layers are arranged that way round then they are much more likely to separate under load. The sliced-off bits are included in the STL so they can be super-glued on to the flat sides of the caps if you want to keep them symmetrical, but there's next to no structural or practical advantage to this I don't think. I did it on the prototype just to make it look nicer, but if I make more I'll just turn the flat sides inwards when assembling it.
