This object is composed by 3 parts that together form a GPS tower and protective case for an RC plane Skywalker 1900/1800/1600 (2016) in the place that was supposed to be to placed perhaps a pan&tilt small fpv camera. I decided it was mor apropriated for a GPS antenna. The case was designed to perfectly enclose a chinese Happymodel GPS antenna powered by M8n Ublox receiver that came with my Pixhawk clone. The case is composed by the top and bottom parts and should be tightened with 3 M3 screws, preferably made with nylon to not disturb the antenna's magnetometer. The bottom part is a perfect fit for the tower, and even though it is prepared to receive a 25mm M3 screw, when the pieces are fit, they'll hardly separate after. The tower has hole that allows you to place the antenna's cables directly inside the plane minimising drag. In case you have a Skywalker but have a different antenna you can still use the tower and the fitting part of the bottom case piece to make your own case. Don't mind about the long screws in the picture. At the time I joined the parts I didn't had a shorter M3 screw, so I used that just for those shots. I'll update the pictures when I have the right size M3 8mm nylon screws. For me printing this object with 100micron was enough for a great print! I hope you enjoy my first upload to thingiverse and have happy flying with your Skywalker! Print Settings Printer: BQ Hephestos 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 100 micron Infill: 10/20 Notes: For better results print all the parts with raft, the tower standing and both case parts with the inside pointing down so that the external parts get the best look.
