Hi again! Bringing to you my next version of the GR8 PI Case Version 2. I had a bunch of feedback and a request to " take the air out" of the last design. So I have created a shorter more symmetrical version. This version is about 1.5" shorter than the original version. This version can only house a 10mm thick 80mm x 80mm fan. I have found most of these to be 5v x .3a so it is a little less stress on the Pi power as well. And as always, you don't have to run a fan in this but that was what started it for me so I decided to just build off that. This case is completely snap together when I printed it but I did leave some spots for hardware if you would like to mount it all together. Enjoy! Feel free to add some feedback and I would love to see some pics of your makes! Print Settings Printer: Monorprice Dual ext Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25 Infill: 20 Post-Printing Hardware ( if desired ) I used #6 x 1.25" long Philips head screws for connecting layer 1 and 2 I chose 3mm x 10mm screws to attach layer 3 to layer 2 This does require you to clear out the Pi board hold with an 1/8" bit.
