The model features the sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth and its moon, and Mars. Orbital speeds of each planet are proportional to each-other, and accurate up to 3 decimal places. NOTE: Scale 2540% if your parts come in microscopic. Parts List ======== In addition to the plastic components here, I also used: - about 5 inches of 1/8 inch stainless steel rod (to hold the sun) - about a foot of 1/16 in stainless steel rod (to hold the planets) (1/16 welding rod works great!) - a #6 sheet metal screw - This motor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07285FZV2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - and a battery pack: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076C7S2VN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Planets themselves are included in the files and should be able to be printed, but I ended making mine out of modeling clay to get nice blended colors.
