Modified housing of the upper grinder cone. It adds to more "fins" on the side to make it fit better in the grinder. The original housing leads to a rather loose fitting. Main reason for this "improvement" is to let the upper grinder part sit better and produce more consistent results. I also hope that the quality of the grind coffee is better, but I do not know for sure yet. I "think" that espresso now tastes better, but maybe I only want to believe that, ... On the consistency I'm quite sure that it is better now. Switching beans and also grinder setting for filter, mocca or espresso all works quite consistent, ... extraction times stay constant, ... It requires the upper plastic cover of the grinder to be modified. You need to add some space to fit the additional fins (see pictures). After printing you might need to sand the fins a bit so that it smoothly fits and the adjustement of the grinder works without too much effort.
