Gravitrax Cactus

Gravitrax Cactus

thingiverse

This model originated from an idea of my five year old son who wanted a kind of tree for his Gravitrax marble track to affix the base tiles to it. The initial idea went far beyond my designing skills and abilities :-) and failed also in what our 3D printer would have made possible. So, this compromise accepted with tears came out of it and looks more like a cactus than a tree but is definitely an eye-catcher and promotes kids creativity ;-). ***Assembly Instruction*** As base tile to be attached to the foot of the cactus you can use the 6-exit-basic-tile (or other derivatives with min. 3-holes) which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3552100 or the easier to print from Speedbomb here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5189236. Have fun and let the cactus grow :-) **** ***Revision History*** **V1.0**   Initial upload **V1.1**   Heights of some branch plates modified a bit, so that its better to build a circular sloping track around the cactus starting from the top. **V1.2**   Diameter of the 6-hex base plate plugs and base support surface increased for better fitting and higher strength. ****
